If your family member or friend is a patient in Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani, use the information below to help you plan your visit. We strive to provide patient and family-centered service to you and your loved ones.

We ask that patients and their loved ones be respectful of other patients, visitors and staff. For everyone’s safety, all visitors should comply with the following guidelines.

Visiting Hours

• General visiting hours: 12pm – 2pm and 5pm – 10pm (only 2 visitors at a time) 
• Visitors must be aged 12 and above. 
• Intensive care unit (ICU) and high dependency unit (HDU) visiting hours: 12pm – 2pm and 5pm – 8pm daily. (only 1 visitor at a time)

Discharge

• Discharge time: 11am onwards
• There is a 2-hour grace period for patients to vacate the room
• Half-day room rate will apply for discharge between 2pm – 5pm
• Full-day room rate will apply for discharge after 5pm
• For discharge after 2pm, there will be an additional half-day room charges imposed.
• For all discharges after 5pm, an extra day of room charge shall be imposed.
• Please note that it may take approximately 2 hours to complete the discharge process and for your bill to be ready
• Payments can be made at the cashier's counter at the lobby.
• You are required to settle the hospital charges in full upon discharge
• Should your deposit exceed the hospital charges, your refunds will be processed after payment is received from your insurance provider
• In the case of self-payment, your refund will be processed after the bill is finalised. Deposits made by credit card will be refunded back to the card. A refund cheque will be issued for payments made by cash, cheque and AMEX card payments
